The infested town

The group flew on their rehards towards Flanoir, and the ride was going pretty sweet.

"Hey Ragnarok, you think we could-" Caitar said

"No..." Ragnarok cut him off " You need to learn when no means no. We're not touching that base. Unless if necessary."

"But-" Caitar said hurriedly

"NO!!!!" Ragnarok said glaring at Caitar. Caitar got the message and fell silent.

Arriving at Flanoir the group realized something: the town was empty. The streets and the clock tower were painted red. Well... Not painted... More or less colored with blood. Inside the tavern, the group saw a man cowering in fear behind the counter.

"What happened here?" Ragnarok said hurriedly

"Z-Zombies c-came in and tuned th-the town into zombies..." The man said weakly "They went towards the...the...base..."

The man fell silent. He then screamed an awful lot, then started to transform. His back grew small spiked while he started to reanimate. The zombie-like creature lunged at Ragnarok, but with his cat-like reflexes, he drew a sword and the...thing...sliced into clear two.

More zombies started coming in from the door. The looked surprisingly like the one Ragnarok just cleaved, but they were slower, as if still conscious.

"The whole town is infested!!!!! This'll be fun." Ragnarok said with a sadistic grin. "We stand and fight!!! Cleave the whole village to avoid this infection from spreading!" Ragnarok ordered

"Right!" Everyone chimed. Caitar looked especially exited.

"Yay we do get to go to the base after all!!!!" He exclaimed with glee

"Don't get your hopes up." Ragnarok said

Alysii- Guys, this doesn't look good. The whole town againt us. It doesn't seem fair. Maybe it would be fair if we only used our right hand. No, right. Bring it Zombies!

Ragnarok- I think they might takes your advice!

Luna- Oh briliance Reviel your Destruction! Photon!

Caiter- Destra Attack!

Lucy- Grand Impact!

Zaktar- Valiant Fang Solar Destruction!

Alysii- Clense the Defiled! Judgment!

Ragnarok- Shadow Aggressor!

Dragonis- Burning Dragonoia!

All of their attacks took out about 20-30 Zombies, but there were hundreds more coming by the min.

Ragnarok- Damn, there's too many!

Alysii- Dragonis! Change the Weather!

Dragonis- To what?

All- SOMETHING HOT!

Dragonis- Okay, Okay. Flaming Eruption Desert Wind!

The sunlight turned harsh, and the tempature started to go up.

Alysii- We can fight better now! Lets go!

"Let's even the field!" Ragnarok said "Axidro! Join the fight!!"

A medium-sized black and red dragon materialized in front of the group. Unfortunately, the dragon destroyed half of the tavern they were in.

Ragnarok thew himself willingly into a pile of zombies. The others in the group yelled at him to come back, but no answer.
From the crowd, they heard "Backlash wave!" and the crowd exploded, leaving Ragnarok bristling with some sort of blue energy.

"That was fun." Ragnarok said slashing more zombies.

Zaktar- Ragnarok what is that on you arm... It looks like a zombie bight. Your infected !!! We have to heal you or you will become a ZOMBIE !!!

Luna- Ragnarok you have to sit dawn and I might be abel to heal you!

Zaktar- I have bin waiting to try my new spell for a while!!!

Zaktar says " implosion arrow ". The bracelet on Zaktars wrist starts to glow and the glow spreads thru his arm and thru the arrow. Zaktar shoots the arrow and it gos faster than any arrow the group has ever seen, then it hits a zombie and the 20 or sow zombie around it all implode !!!

( imploding is the opposite of exploding, it gos in and blowup not out. )

Alysii- Ragnarok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luna- You Idiot!

Caiter- Ever I know better.

Zaktar just stared at him.

Ragnarok looked over and felt a slight pain in his neck.

Ragnarok- Ow... What?

Alysii- You Idiot you're infected!!

Ragnarok- What the...

Ragnarok's vision started to get blurry and he couldn't control himself.

Alysii- Aqua! Grant me your power! Pure Water Ice Crystal Jail!

A jail of Ice was put up around Ragnarok. It was cicrular. It was about 10 feet tall. And about 10 feet wide. The bar were about 3 inches thick. Ragnarok reached for a bar. He got a painful crystal through his hand.

Alysii- That should hold him. Anyone got a cure?

"We wouldn't know" everyone said. The zombies still coming.

"Hey what's up with Ragnarok?" Zaktar asked

Ragnarok laughed. He laughed strangely, like if he suddenly...changed... In one feel swoop, he sliced the ice casket in two. Eyes glowing red, and his dark armor coming out, all he had to do was point a sword, and where he pointed and explosion would follow. Exploding everything into pieces, the town soon became less populated, and the zombies retreated.

"Maybe...the backlash wave wasn't the best...idea..." Ragnarok said faintly "But while Ratatosk controls me, I'll be safe... I hope"

"Could there be a clue as to where to find the cure?" Alysii asked hurriedly, almost paranoid that Ragnarok could transform at any moment.

"The man said that they came from the base..." Caitar said

"You're really stubborn, aren't you?" Luna said

"Guilty!"

"LET'S FOCUS ON THE TASK AT HAND!!" Ragnarok roared, more violently than usual.

"Well, what do we do?" Zaktar asked

"We search the town for anything that could help us." Ragnarok said weakly, and then collapsed...

Alysii- I got one way! The god of the Heavens, thine holy blood is Pure of Health! Bless the Ill.

Alysii's wings started to glow very bright. A light altar started to appear around her. She got lifted up, Alysii didn't even notice.

Alysii- Bless the Ill. Use my Pure blood as a Sacrifice for the ones in need! Sacrifice!

Alysii took one of her needles and stabbed herself in the sholder, the blood dripped onto Ragnarok and he awakened. The blood kept going.

Luna- Huh? It's supposed to stop!

The blood dripped onto a couple of Zombie close by. They started to change into people again. The blood stopped. Alysii fell to the ground. She quickly grabbed a Lemon Gel.

Townsman- I'm Alive!

Alysii- Me too!

Ragnarok- Sir what happened?

???????- Your all okay?!

Townsman- Natalie!

Natalie- I asked if you were okay!

Ragnarok- Yes ma'am we're all Okay.

Natalie- Well, I'm Natalie. The school teacher here in Flanoir.

Zaktar- Tell me something.

Townsman- What?

Zaktar- What excactly happened here?

Natalie- A lot...

"Well, the scientists of Sybak decided to go to the military base not far from here to finish the 'super soldiers' projet." Natalie began "The scientists went there and never returned... And then, zombies came and ravaged our town, turning everyone into zombies themselves! Oh! You're infected!! Don't touch me!" She said pointing at Ragnarok's arm.

"Yea...Alysii, your sacrifice arte only woke me up, it didn't heal the infection. Yet it transformed the man back into a human." I guess since I'm currently immune, I'm incurable too..." Ragnarok said

"Wait...Natalie, how didn't you get infected like everyone else?" Luna asked

"I don't know...I guess I just did." She responded

"We must get Glacies's core!" Tenebrae said

"How could you say that Tenebrae!?" Ragnarok yelled "How are we supposed to save the world if we can't even save the people in front of us?"

"Well...That is a good point..."

"I thought so."

Suddenly out of nowhere, a large dome of ice formed itself around Flanoir, encasing the group within the city. The large amount of zombies came out again to attack the group.

"There were only a few when I stopped firing!!" Ragnarok exclaimed

The ever-expanding army of zombies were waddling towards Ragnarok. Strangely, he could see them multiply. Almost exact clones were coming out of each other.

"This is not good!" Zaktar said

Alysii- They have to have a leader somewhere! Maybe if we take that out, they'll all go out.

Ragnarok- Maybe so, but now we fight!

Luna- Take this Zombie Scum! Divine Saber! (I think we all know what this does...)

Alysii- Tenebrae! Grant me your power! Shade! Guys, use Darkness moves! Trust me!

Ragnarok- Devil's Maw! (This too...)

Alysii- Shadow Ball!

Zaktar- Valiant Fang Solar Destruction!

Caiter- Chaos of Darkness!

Luna- Shadows! Dark Pulse!

Ragnarok- THey never stop multiplying!

Natalie- A saw a big building I never saw before while I was getting here. I've been here for a ong time too.

Alysii- WHAT?!?!?!? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!?!?!?

Natalie- I didn't think it was important...

Ragnarok- Lets go! uh... We can't get go! They'll get out of the entrance!

Townsman- I can take care of that. You go, after all you saved my life.

Alysii- Alright ready?

Luna- Yeah

Alysii takes a needle and "cleans" it with a green fluid.

Luna- What the hell are you doing?

Alysii- It's rapid spreading acid. I'll burn those creeps to the ground.

Natalie- Can I come?

Luna- Sure, if you want to risk your life.

Natalie- I'm coming!

Alysii stabbed the needle into the ground and the acid spread burning the Zombies in the way to the ground. The group noticed something. The acid was being washed away! There was a flood!

Alysii- We made it too hot!!!

Ragnarok- That was a good thing.

Zaktar- It's washing away all the zombies!!

Caiter- That's really good!

Alysii- Lets go!

Alysii(Thoughts)- "" "How could you say that Tenebrae!?" Ragnarok yelled "How are we supposed to save the world if we can't even save the people in front of us?" "" Those are Lloyd's words...

Luna- Alysii! You coming?!?!

Alysii- Yeah!

They all follow Natalie to the weird building.

Caitar says"Damn the base is infected...damn super soldiers...scientists are stupid*more muttering* anyways Ragnarok is infected we cant cure him so I say we kill him so he doesnt infect us anyone else agree? probably not oh well...wait i remember that this base has the air force protecting it we might find the general...oh ya one more thing told you we should go to base! there are definitly supplies and guns to wipe out this zombie scum..."

Alysii- CAITER! We're STUCK in flanoir! There is a think wall of ICE around us. We can't get out!...duh...

Caitar says" oh ya a wall...can anyone teleport?oh wait me and Ragnarok can...or we could use the explosive me and Lyles has or the spells you guys have unless of course this wall is 40ft thick then we are screwed cept for teleporting"

"This is an ANTI-MAGIC ice wall, you'd think I would have teleported..." Ragnarok said

Ragnarok's skin was becoming paler, and his eyes were getting baggy. As they approached the building, the building seemed to constantly be moving...Like if they weren't getting closer. Yet they were passing houses and buildings. Finally, the group arrived at the building.

"Not what?" Ragnarok asked

Before anyone could respond, tentacles surged from the ground, grabbed everyone, and sucked em' into the house.

"Ok...I think we found the leader..." Caitar said

"This whole house is a monster!!!" Alysii yelled

"This is new..." Ragnarok said

Caitar "WHY DO HOUSES HAVE TENTACLES?!?!THIS SUCKS MONKEYS!!!!GODDAMNIT HATE HOUSES WITH TENTACLES THEY ARE SUCH PRICKS...(this goes on for about ten more lines but im too lazy to post it)"

Caitar and the group are in the house with tentacles...dangling from the ceiling of the house

Caitar says"Lets not goto the base!!noooo lets goto the innocent town thats infested with zombies!!!oh i know lets goto the ominous building what could go wrong?...*glares at everyone* This sucks...if only we had Avionus here...he would blast everything with his air squadron...*more muttering to himself man this is a pain to write Caitar can you please shut up and do something? Caitar says"no!!if i do something its gonna break a rule!!

Me" could you do something without breaking a rule?"

"no cuz it will break a rule no matter what"

Everyone besides Lyles is looking at Caitar like hes Schizophrenic

Caitar says"I hear voices they tell me things evil things!!...NOT!!!*Mutters to himself about pricks*"

"Haven't you learned the basics of fighting Caitar?" Ragnarok teased "Tenebrae!"

"You called?"

"What is the attribute of the zombies?" Ragnarok asked

"Fire, no pacts can be made"

"That's a shame..." Ragnarok sighed "Can you cut the tentacles?"

"I can and will." Tenebrae said, cutting Ragnarok's tentacle. "And might I add that you are looking quite ill."

"I KNOW!!!!"

Ragnarok cut down the other tentacles. The group found themselves in what looked like a basement.

"Well, we now have to get out of here and burn down the house." Ragnarok said "Any ideas?"

Caitar says" me and Lyles are kill happy I think we have enough firepower to blow up the town but if we had Avionus we would could destroy everything in a five mile radius also I DONT HAVE DAMN CORES!!! k Mr. Ragnarok?!? i cant just go Amatearusu summon a fireball and get me a martini now can I? how about if you allow me to break one chain of insanity i can blow up the house in a matter of seconds and 2/3's of the zombies...also i dont think every damn wall is anti magic now do I? how about the wall isnt Anti magic for once? how about anti prick! or anti fire!! plus we can blow up stuff we aren't totally relying on magic are we? I don't rely on magic i just stab and stab and shoot"

( Ragnarok are you going to stay in the house when we blow it up !!! HA HA!!! LOL )

Zaktar looks around but the room is to dark to see any thing.

Z- DAY LIGHT !!!

The room lights up and the group can see everything but they now don't want to!!! There are 3 giant serpents that are or were sleeping but now they are looking at the party with huger in there eyes.

Z- This is going to be a big fight, but very fun !!!

Rag- YAYZ !!!

Caitar thinks"KILL KILL KILL KILL" says"Ok everybody lets not make this too messy heheh"

Caitar and Lyles attack the serpent closest to them Lyles smashes her sledgehammer on the serpents head while Caitar wildly slashes at the serpents body

"LYLES AND CAITAR, YOU IDIOTS!" Luna's voice boomed. Caitar and Lyles immediately jumped back.

"What did we do?!" they asked in unison.

"These things are GIANT BASALISKS," Luna hissed. "You can't beat them when they still have their outer shells around them, they'll take no damage,"

"How do you know these things?!" Amaterasu growled.

"Because I'm intelligent," Luna retorted. "See the armor on their heads and body? Knock it off with magic, usually light or shadow is sufficient, THEN do whatever the heck you want and see if I care if you die,"

"If you're gonna rant all day, then may as well do it now, because I don't want to become snake food," Amaterasu growled. A purple magic circle formed around her.

"Infinite strength, grant me thy power to obliviate! Obsolute," Amaterasu murmured. Shadow arose from her body like vicious claws, as if ready to attack. "DARKNESS!" Amaterasu growled, the shadows crashed violently on the armor that surrounded the snakes, and slowly cracked into billions of peices, leaving the outer form of the basilisks vunrable.

"GO!" Amaterasu snarled.

Caitar says"if you want damn magic fine!!! Demonicus Wrath!!!!!!!" the snake starts to turn red and it explodes... then 2 reform out of it..

Caitar says"shit!!! these are hybrids from the lab!!!"

Luna says " what?"

Caitar says "they are part hydra, part basilisk and part 1XE-327"

Alysii- Shut up Caiter. I'll finish this... Ameratusu! Grant me your power!

Ameratusu- *Grunt*...Fine

Alysii- Petrification!

The snakes froze into Diamond statues.

Alysii- Now what?

Luna- I don't know.

Ragnarok threw his sword to the ground, resulting in the house-creature to let off a shriek.

"My sword will explode!" Ragnarok explained quickly "We have three minutes, GO!"

The group ran out of the basement, slashing at zombies as they ran trough the hallway, into the kitchen, and outside. Ragnarok stayed in the doorway while the group ran outside.

"Ragnarok! What are you doing??" Luna and Alysii asked "You'll get killed!"

Ragnarok's currently red eyes glistened. "I'll survive, trust me." he said smirking "I have a plan."

"But-"

"Go... And don't look back."

"Fine..."

Luna and others kept running, leaving Ragnarok behind.

The house blew up, and Ragnarok did not emerge. The group saw some sort of meteor fly out of the house and smash right into the ice wall, causing the impact to shatter it.

"Ragnarok..." Alysii said

"RAGNAROK!!!" Zaktar yelled

"He's... gone..." Luna said

Caitar says " i dont think we have a Doc this time..."

Caitar looks behind and starts to point the group turns around to see a nice big fat group of zombies

Caitar says"I got an idea that involves killing them without the help of demon form cuz i dont think of demon form every damn fight you pricks!!!!ok lets just this handy dandy radio i found!!!*radio sounds"

?????? says"What is it?"

Caitar says"this is Caitar whats your current position over?

?????? says"about three clicks away from flanoir military installation over"

Caitar I am requesting an air strike on Flanoir city near the exploded building there will be a huge group of hostiles eliminate them,a green flare will be the target spot over."

?????? says" on my way hehe BOOM TIME!!!!YEEEHA!!!over"Caitar throws a green flare into the middle of the enclosing Zombie horde and the about 2 minutes later a sound of something whistle is heard and three explosions hit the zombies...zombie bits are thrown everywhere and zombies are on fire...

Luna asks" what was that??"
the radio sputters "Names Avionus me lady"

Luna says"Avionus?"
